Opinion: Highly Recommend – especially for going on a cruise out of Seattle – A beautiful, quiet dedicated wildlife habitat.  Most sites sit right on a small lake full of Canadian geese & ducks. (Beware:  We kept having to clean duck and goose poop off our site and they were loud 24 hours a day.  This might not be the park for you, if you are bothered by these issues.)

Amenities: Easy maneuverability on the paved interior roads.  Neat and clean campground. This park has fishing, cycling, hiking, a playground, showers/bathrooms, and laundry.  You can also receive mail and packages at the office.  (We had several packages that got to the park before we arrived and this was alright with the office since we had reservations.)

Dates of Stay: May 9-31, 2017 (PreCruise, Storage during Cruise, Post Cruise Stay)

Overview of Sites: Open year round.  All sites are asphalt with wide grassy spaces between sites with full hook ups (including cable tv.). Sites range from perfectly level to extremely unlevel. We noticed one rig with many blocks under the leveler jacks and the front wheels totally off the ground.

Laundry:  Yes, clean and open 24 hours a day.

Restrooms:   Clean and well stocked restrooms/showers. (They were heated.) The restrooms in the back of the park were private bathroom/shower rooms and the restrooms in the front of the park were private shower/bathroom stalls.

Rate: The average we paid for the entire stay (sites & storage) was $34 nightly.

Our Site/Phone/TV:

  • Site 20 for the PreCruise (Pull through site)* My Favorite
  • Site 3 for Cruise Storage
  • Site 7 Post Cruise (Back-in site)

The park has both pull-through sites and back-in sites. Verizon and AT&T worked for phone.  There was “iffy” paid wifi. It worked best during the day when most people had left the park.

Elevation/Landscape/Terrain:  The RV park had lots of trees and is very green.

Lighting/Noise: No obtrusive lighting or noise.

Favorite Camper Site:  None

RV Office:  Reservations are made by calling 800-742-0386 or 425-487-1785.
